Cheetah Modems

Does anyone know anything about these? Currently have an HP Pavilion and I looked on the spec sheet and it said it had a Cheetah modem? I need the drivers for this modem for Windows 2000 pro, does anyone know where to get these or who develops them?

I understand that the Cheetah is a plain vanilla Lucent/Agere modem. If you can't find drivers anywhere else, you can get them at:

http://www.agere.com

. If it's a v.92 modem, you may have to use

http://www.modemsite.com

. They charge $1.50 for a month for downloading and advanced areas, but everything is right there in one place for L/A modems.
