Checksum in MIITEM 1

We use Accpac and for manufacturing we have MISys.

Now, i just want to know what exactly does the field CHECKSUM in MISYS item table MIITEM.

Can someone explain how to calculate the checksum field for creating an insert of an Item into MISYS directly?

It's a secret field, only used by MISYS. They refuse to tell how to calculate it, I asked years ago. You have to use the COM API to insert records.
