I've been asked to deploy a new version of CheckPoint SecureClient NGX R60 Build 019 to our laptop clients. When we test deployed the client to our dept's PC, we found we had issues using the SMS Admin Console.
If I try to expand Collections, Queries, Packages, etc, the hourglass would stay selected and nothing would expand. All other SMS Admin Console users (whether or not they had the SecureClient installed) also could not access the SMS Admin Console anymore. Once I killed the MMC process on that laptop, which shutdown the SMS Admin Console, only then were the other clients able to access their SMS Admin Console. We used SecuRemote previously and that did not have any problems. It is only when we tried to switch to SecureClient that we had the problem. We are only using the VPN portion of the SecureClient.
Does anyone have any experience with CheckPoint's SecureClient that can help point me in the right direction for the fix/workaround? I've asked our remote access admin to log a support call with CheckPoint, but I want to see if there is a solution to this problem.
