I am running Checkpoint NG on a client site. Windows 2000 Advanced Server. The client is requesting that a user get a specific message generated back to them when they access an unauthorized (blocked) site. Has anyone ever seen this, or know how to implement? Any help would be great.

TIA

I've never seen on a FW before, the Webserver or a proxy server would tell you that. FW's shouldn't say "You can't go there because you're using the wrong port." If you're using a FW to snuff out unauthorized requests just snuff them.

You could always use something like Websense (Seperate program). From there, you create "Catagories" with URLs inside each catagory. Each catagory has a seperate, configurable, HTTP page for display when someone trys to hit a blocked website....
