i have a nokia ip330 running checkpoint 4.1. users use the securemote client to dial in and access the LAN. however if the user is behind NAT, then the user is unable to authenticate with the firewall. ive tried the option 'force udp encapsulation'but to no avail, any other ideas?

There is a known issue with this, I believe phoneboy.com has an article on this. Anyways,VPN's are Point to Point and don't like being NAT'd. I had a similiar situation a little while back. If the users are using a device ie netscreen, linksys, smc router to do NAT, they may need to update their device code and make a config change on their device. You could send an email to the device's support desk and they could give you the specifics for that device.
[cheers]
