I am having a problem trying to block traffic onto AOL routers, specifically for AOL Mail. Any suggestions?

The AOL client will utilize port 80 if all else fails, so you will need to block this at the application layer or a proxy/URL filter.
The devices with the most success that I have seen are URL filters that examine all web based traffic and match policies that are controlled simlar to a Firewall policy. You can find more info at: Hope this helps...
Rgds,

Or block all access to the AOL mail servers, using NSLOOKUP you should be able to find all of the addresses. For IM, block all access to IP associated with login.oscar.aol.com.
