checking what service pack is on the server

how do i check? anyone?

when u apply a service pack, do you apply it to the server? or .net on ur local sorry getting confused here
 
There are multiple service packs involved...

Operating System service packs:
Win2K --> SP4
WinXP Pro --> SP 1
Win2K3 --> none

SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 3

Reporting Services is at SP2 also.

Do you have the Reporting Services application installed on
the same machine as your database?
 
err i know that, i am talking about Reporting Server service pack
 
Point your browser to:

...and you will see the raw directory tree along with something like this:
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Version 8.00.743.00

The version numbers go like this:
743 = no patch
878 = SP1
1038 = SP2
1042 = Post SP2 QFE

Just remember to go to to get the directory tree instead of the Report Manager web app at
