All I had to do is press *(star) twice, and it would prompt me for VM ext and pws, now when I do it I just get recording:Exiting the system Goodbye' and it kicks me out
Any idea why? and what do I need to do?

It sounds like it's timing out on you and giving the "Exiting the System" message. These are the instuctions that I have for access outside the office.

To Access Your Mailbox From Outside The Office:
Have someone transfer you into your mailbox, or from the main greeting if the Auto Attendant answers the lines.
Dial **
Enter mailbox number and password followed by the pound sign.
(Example: Ext/Mailbox#:23 Password:1111 then enter:231111#)
Retrieve messages as you would normally.

Hope this helps!
