Checking users logged on/off times

Does anyone know if you can check to see when a specific user logged on and logged off the network for a given day?

It will be in their machines local event log.

You could also write a script to do this for you.

Where would I find that log on the local machine? Which folder?

Its not in a folder, it will be the System Event Log on the machine.

If you look through the log there will be event log start up and stop events when the computer is turned on / off.
