Checking other browser windows

I am looking for the code that checks one browser window from a different window. does any one know if and how this is done?

if you are talking to a window you opened with window.opener do this:<br><br>mywin = window.opener(&quot;page.htm&quot<br><br>you can now reference that window as mywin.whatever and mywin can reference the opener by saying opener.whatever<br><br><br><A HREF="mailto:jared@aauser.com">jared@aauser.com</A>
