Several months ago I was promoted and given charge of the IT department here at work. I have been slowly but surely getting things organized and straightened out. We have quite a few copies of Office XP laying around, all authentic. I am pretty sure that not all of them have been installed, and that some of the ones installed likely haven't been activated.

Is there any system set up at Microsoft to allow me to find out which of these copies are activated? I realize that such a set up would be very interesting to software pirates, so I am kind of doubtful that it would exist. If it does, it would save me a lot of time though.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

I would suggest using Belarc Advisor on the systems to get all of the product keys and which system they are installed on.
