Checking NIS Slave servers from NIS Master

Hi all,

is it possible to check which are the NIS slave servers from the NIS master?

Pls kindly provide the paths/steps to find out, if there is any solution.

If slave servers are the same as replicas, you might try nisping.

nisping is for NIS+.

Try yppoll instead as follows:

yppoll <nis map>

example: yppoll auto.home
