Hey everyone,
At work we upgraded ram on some machines and now we have a lot of the old ram laying around. I want to see if I can put it into any of the other machines at work. I dont want to go around turning every single computer off to check if it can be upgraded. i know the dmidecode command will tell me if there are empty slots available but not if its ddr2 or not. is there anyway easier way to do this?
Thanks
Alex
