We have a problem where by a server is filling up rapidly the serve ris used for peoples home folders and profiles. We have a new box with ooooodles of disk space far more then they will ever need to use a microsoft phrase!) but we need to move the folders and repoint them when they are not logged on.
We have looked at utilities to see if someone is logged in but these seem to take a long time as we have around 6 dc's and 8,000 users so by the time we have ran the tool the user could have logged in ot out.
So we thought about finding a utility to look at their shares to see if they are connected we have found a util called sharewatch with is a graphical tool but we want to run this from a bat file so that we can kick it off nd leave it running.
So to cut the story short does anyone know of a commandline util to check to see who is connected to a share (note connected not just who has a file in use).
Your help would be greatly appreciated
