Help! I have a form with a series of check boxes (9 to be exact) that are tied with comment fields...and the form needs to do different things based on which check boxes are selected or not. I am having trouble finding out whether or not the check box is selected; I have no problem getting the value of the comments field. Could someone please help.

Thanks.

Generally, if a checkbox is NOT checked, it's name and value won't be passed back to the cgi program at all. So, if the variable doesn't exist, it wasn't checked. Tracy Dryden
