I'm looking into a means of checking for links to a number of our websites within recent news articles on the web.

With the launch of news.google.com, I figure it should be posssible to do this using Link Checker software, though I've not found any program that quite does what we need it to.

Specifically, the software needs to find the links on the news.google.com home page which contain with the text "and xxx related >>" (where xxx is a variable number), browse down to the listing pages these links lead to, then down another level to each news story, check for links on these pages which contain out websites domain names, then build a file up of any matches and where they were found.

As I mentioned, it's not a million miles away from what traditional website link checker software does, but *just* different enough so that I've not been able to find anything that will match our requirements.

Has anyone had any experience with a similar problem, or software that will allow us to do this?

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.
