Hello. I'm using CR 9 and Sql Server 2005. I have a group B section which I would like to suppress if subreport (group A) is null. What is the best way to check for the null subreport? I am passing shared variable into the subreport. Thanks.

----------
Group A (Contains subreport)
Group B (Suppress if subreport is null)

Pre-set a shared variable to zero or N in the main report. Reset in the subreport if it runs at all.

Or you could test the value for null, IsNull, a test that must be done first because nulls stop a formula field or other test in Crystal.
