Hi,

Is there a way I can check dependencies in a VFP5 project. I need to change the structure of a table field but before I do I want to check everywhere it's used in the project... so is there a report or something I can run in VFP5 that will tell me everywhere that table field is used?

Thanks,
VFP newbie

MP9,

Unfortunately, VFP 5 didn't have any tools like Code References, which would have done what you want.

However, you could do a web search for Steve Dingle's project search tool, which searches all components in a project for a given string (which could be a field name). I'm not sure if Steve is still supporting this tool, but it should be available for download somewhere.
