I am really new to NEC systems. My company has IPS2000 with NEAX AD-40. We have an extension that is not forwarding to voicemail (internal and external calls) after a certain amount of rings.

Using CAT mode, what commands should I use to check this???

Thanks

E601 FOR BUSY STATION
E602 FOR NO ANS
E603 FOR BUSY NO ANS

Example would look like E602>XXXX>ZZZZ where XXXX is the stations number to forward and ZZZZ is the forward destination.

When I run those the extension is forwarding to "WRONG", how do I reset it??

Also is there a list of commands for CAT mode??

Thanks

Wrong usually means the extension it used to be forwarded to has been deleted. when it says wrong simply type the new destination in next to where it says wrong and press EXE if you just want to delete the entry type CCC instead of a new destination.

You will struggle to get an up to date manual for the IPS from anywhere but NEC however you can make do with the NEAX 2000 IVS2 manuals to be found here...

if you are unsure of what keys do what in CAT check the FAQs
