I am writing a Cognos report which involves 2 different date fields and a status field. There is a parameter of a date range, begin date and start date. I need the report to only pull the info that has (date1 in date range) OR (date2 in date range and status = completed or closed). I put this in the query for the parameter/filter, but it does not pull the correct info. It skips the status check and only pulls in certain dates. How can I make this work?
