I have a report that pulls in several Yes/No fields as checkboxs on a report. The Yes's have a check in the box and the No's are shaded in. How can I get these boxes to print blank (no shading).

I created another report with checkboxes and it never had a problem with this shading. I can see no difference in the properties of the boxes.

Can anyone tell me what is giving me these shaded boxes?

They are shaded because the value is Null. Replace it with 0 (zero) and that's all. You could use the Nz(YourCheckBox, 0) function.

Good luck

Bless you, bless you. You gave me the key to figuring this thing out. I have no background in programming but I manage this database and often have to figure things out by the seat of my pants. I'm sure my methods are unorthodox, but it's getting the job done. Thanks so much for your help.

I meant to give you a smiley on that. Hope I'm doing this right. Thanks. :-D
