Hi,
I'm using a checkbox in word for some items, but my users are grumbling that they have to Right Click, then select "checked" radio button, and then close that window. Is there a way to toggle the Check/Uncheck value by just a mouse click in a word doc/form. (I'm using Word 2010).

Best Regards,
Scott

Hi Scott,

That suggests you're using a checkbox formfield in an unprotected document. You could instead use an ActiveX checkbox, for which simply clicking on it changes its state (once you exit the design mode).

Paul,
Ok, do I have to put any code behind it, and do I have to protect the document for it to work, or just whack it on in design, and then distribute it?

Hi Scott,

No code or protection required - simply exit the design mode.

Note: Using ActiveX controls generate macro warnings on opening, even without any code being present.
