I want to view the checkbox in my yes/no field.
I select the various formats on the table design for the data type yes/no. There are three formats:
1. yes/no
2. true/false
3. on/off

Regardless of which format type I select, I don't see the check box in my tables or queries.

Access Help doesn't provide the answer. Access help sends me to properties tab in the toolbar for the table. There, for default view, I only see datasheet, PivotTable or PivotChart.

Can someone please advise.

thanks.

Robert

You should be viewing/editing value only in forms and reports. Use a check box control and bind it to your field.

Thanks guys. I found the answer in a beginner's Access instructional manual.

I discovered that if you go to the Lookup properties under data type, that is where you set the display to show text or check box.

Cheers,

Robert
