hi guys....
how to check if the user enter any space. for example when the user enter 'abc ' with the space at the end i want the program to be able to check the space before enter it to the db.

Orn,

If you want to get rid of the spaces at the end, why don't you just trim the field before you enter it into the database.

i.e. trim(Request.Form("myField&quot)

This will get rid of all leading and trailing white spaces. Mise Le Meas,
