Is there any command to check the status of the write cash of a disk ?

Do you mean ssa fast write cashe? Enabled? Battery status?

I mean that there is a stanza that sets the disk write cache to on or off (IBM scsi disk).

I'm looking for a way to tell if the cache is on or off for a given disk.
