Hi,

In a recent post I referred to combining filters together in one image by using snapshots and the history brush.

You may use this trick or have seen it, but none the less it is very useful and I find is better that fighting with quick masks and selections most of the time.

Check it out and tell me what you think faq229-3361

Hope this helps!

On a scale of Refrigerator door to Louvre this tip is definately Louvre!!

I created a colored wheel with thick black spokes. Then with your tip, I used the chrome filter (filter>sketch>chrome) to build the snapshot.

I was then able to grab the brush and "paint" the spokes with a chrome finish.

There are endless useses for this.

Absolutely cool tip

One star for the man up north!
