Hi,

Does anyone know how to audit and record the speed and duplex settings on multiple servers, not all of the servers have the same NIC's, I would like to do this with a tool or script if possible?

We have a considerable amount of server and would like to ensure all of the servers are configured correctly from a NIC point of view.

Thanks

SNMP comes to mind. Just make sure to change the public/private passwords. You can use many network management tools to verify the status of settings, like HP Openview.

Or you can use something simple like a PERL script implementing SNMPWalk.
