Check links site wide on remote server

I did a check links sitewide in Dreamweaver UltraDev 4 on the site I manage and came up with many broken links which need to be fixed. However, the program checked my local site for broken links rather than the remote site that I FTP information I want live and I know that there is much less information on the remote site. Given this information, I'm sure that not all of those broken links need to be fixed since they are not "live". Does anyone know of a way to check links site wide on the remote server instead of the local site?
