Hi,
Can anybody help please.
We have an ASP site that uses an external company for credit card authorisation. One of the pre-requisits of using these authorisers is that the browser supports 128 bit Cipher Encryption.
The majority of failed orders we get are caused by the 'Customers' browser not having 128 bit encryption installed.
Does anybody know of a way (by using Javascript or VBScript or indeed anything else) to automatically determine what level of encryption is installed?
The idea then being to check first and then inform them that there browser needs to be upgraded and to point them in the appropriate direction, rather than cause failed orders to be generated.
Thanks in advance
PaulSc.
(Note as I wasnt sure where to post this - there is a duplicate entry in the JavaScript forum - apologies if this causes any inconvience)
