Check install s/w list from registry?

Dear All,

Now I use Windows 2000 Professional. I want to check all used
software on PC from registry windows (regedit). How can I do that?
Where I should see in registry? Ex. /HKEY_CURRENT_USER/... etc.
Have download program do for this case?

REGEDIT OR REGEDT32 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE> SOFTWARE.

Thanks for your help. Can I delete this list? If I delete them, they will effect to program. Will Program Audit check software installed list from this location?
