I'm exporting data to a workbook from Access and don't want to have conflicts if that workbook is already open.
I've got round it by checking if there is an Excel session running and telling the user to close Excel.
I'd rather be more subtle and only tell them when the specific workbook is a problem, but not clear how you look for it when there could be multiple sessions of Excel running. Does anyone have any ideas?
Many Thanks in advance
Simon
