I have recently had my computer hang up on me and not allow me to get back in. (New computer on order). Is there a way to run a script in a vbScript File (Copy to Jump Drive.vbs) and determine if the access file is open and if not, to copy the file CM.mdb from the C: drive to an external Jump Drive (G: drive). Hopefully I can then schedule the script to copy every 15 minutes or so while it is not being used. It could then over-write the current file on the jump drive.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi
Just a thought ... if an .ldb file exists, the database is open. [ponder]
