Problem: deploy Lotus Notes to workstations (they are in a AD global group) and test for the presence if notes not already is installed.

note: some workstation contain c:\lotus\notes.old\ folder with a complete notes client. However if there is no c:\lotus\notes\notes.exe file the package should be deployed.

I created a collection Resource class "System Resource" with Criterion Properties,
Criterion type: Simple value
Where: System Resource - System Group Name
Operator: is equal to
Value domain\group (my domain\group that contains the Workstations)

so when i put the workstation in my AD group, the workstations gets in my collection

How do i expand the collection to check for the presence for c:\lotus\notes\notes.exe and not for any other notes.exe file somewhere on the harddisk.

Try this:

Criterion type: Simple value
Where: Software Files - File Name
Operator: is equal to
Value notes.exe

and

Criterion type: Simple value
Where: Software Files - FilePath
Operator: is equal to
Value c:\lotus\notes\
