Hi I created a script that checks the size of a users mailbox.
/mail on my server and there home dir minus there profile etc.

I am using sendmail and SquirelMail to access mail from the web. It works great but I need to limit the size of users mailboxes. Now the script I created works fine were it checks everyone every hour to see if they have exceeded there limit but now I need to find a way to somehow concatinate there mail box or the file that contains there mail?

Any one have any idea's, I don't want to delete the file all together because then they loose all there mail.

u might want to try the quotas program for UNIX.. u will need to recompile your kernel to support it.. quotas is specfically designed for this.. good luck..
