Check for Access Version 1

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but here goes:

I have an Access 2003 app that, whenever a form is opened, hides the menu bar and toolbar. Unfortunately, the app is now also being used in Access 2007, and my code doesn't hide the new Ribbon.

I'd like some help on a couple of things:

1) What code to write to check the version of Access and
2) How to hide the Ribbon
