Good afternoon, I've tried the 'recommended':

Code:
ActiveWorkbook.CheckCompatibility = False

ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:=direc_output & TeamName & " " & UpdateDate & ".xls", FileFormat:=xlExcel8

but it still prompts me for compatibilty. Is it me??

Many thanks,
D€$

Ah, it appears to work when I just run it from a button. Weird.

Many thanks,

Are you sure that you work with the same workbook? It would be more readible and stable to declare object variable (of Workbook type), assign ActiveWorkbook to it and refer to it next.
