Check Boxes in Excel Column Cells

Hello All,

I'm using CR 10 and I've been given an Excel spreadsheet to generate a report from. Normally, no problem. However, with this spreadsheet the author inserted multiple (12) 'Check Boxes' in one column and grouped them together. One, all, some or none of these check boxes may be toggled.

I've tried to create the report by connecting directly (ADO) to the spreadsheet and by linking/importing the spreadsheet into an Access database and connecting to that. Neither method converts the data from the checkbox column.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could accomplish this? Or, in fact, is this even possible?
