check box value

I very rarely work with checkboxes what is the value considered. For example if a check box or radio button is selected i'm checking

If chkbox.(value)=** then

I thought it was enabled but I was wrong

You are talking about two properties of a checkbox:
.Value
and
.Enabled

Which one do you have a problem with?
