cheat sheet for set t1 on legend

iam looking for a simple cheat sheet for setting up a t1 on legend. the first 12 channels will be for in bound long distance at&t and also for out bound long distance at&t. channals 19-24 will be for data. any help would be helpful. am using ds1 board and paradyne 3160 csu. thx dennis42

how are you breaking out the data? What about the other channels?

Is this a point to point T1 or a T1 from your local telco with voice and internet access?

I used have a similar configuration on a point to point T1 connecting a branch office with 7 voice trunks and 17 data channels, using a paradyne 3160 and a pipeline 130. The 3160 breaks the T1 channels out to the DTE port as DSX1 voice channels and serial port 1 as data channels to the pipeline 130 to convert to ethernet data onto to your LAN.

I probably still have the 3160 and pipeline configurations on file.

dromero the other channels are not used. this a t1 from telco for voice and a point to point for data. if you have the conf's for the 3160 it would be appreicated. also what if any is difference between a "t1" and a pri circuit.thx for you help dennis 42

Yes, I can get you those config's but it may not be till after the 4th as I'm not in the office the rest of the week.

There is a difference between T1 and PRI, you can get fractional T1 with any number of two way voice trunks or DID trunks and the rest Data. Check with your local telco because I don't think you can break up a PRI T1 it is really 23 ISDN trunks with the 24 being a signalling channel.
