Looking to back up a single Server 2003 and ideally have the ability to take an image of the entire hard drive (a la Ghost). I can't sell our customer on a $700 - $1000 backup application like Acronis or Arcserve.

Are there any more "reasonably" priced backup software packages or am I dreaming??

I mean - Acronis for desktop is like $100. But the server product is like $800. The thing is, Server 2003 is just XP under the skin, so it's really a ripoff.

I use, and recommend to my clients, Drive Snapshot

It is 89 EUROS for the server version. It takes up hardly any space, even less memory, and I've never had any failures with it. Drive Snapshot's support is also excellent.

Hope this helps.

I've used Drive Image XML for home use but there is a commercial version, too. Five users for $100 US. You could use the private version to see how well it works then get the commercial version.
