Cheapcomm Help 1

Hi

I have installed cheapcomm successfully, but I need some help with the commands to open the port.

From what I understand to open COM2 I would use :

OpenCommPort("COM2","Serial_Frame&quot = TRUE

What is the Serial_Frame, I would expect it to be something like : "4800,n,8,1" is this correct.

If anyone has any examples for Excel VBA, I would really appreciate any help.

I am trying to do the same thing, and the installation package of CheapCommm I downloaded doesn't contain any examples. I am very new to VBA and don't have the basics down yet.

I can't seem to get Cheapcomm to work with Windows 98, it works fine with Windows 2000. Anyone else find this to be a problem?
