With chattr +u you can set the possibility of a file to undelete it.

Does anyone know how to actually undelete a file that has that possibility set ? the command undelete does not exist in linux...

AFAIK, no version of linux actually does anything with chattr +u

It's an unimplemented feature. Kind of stupid to document it, but it's not the only example of that sort of hopeful anticipation.
