I need to create a chart that shows the trend of an individual customer's sales by month. There are some months when customers do not buy so there is no record created. Both crosstabs and charts skip over these months, without data to drive them. This makes the trend line wrong.

Is there any way to force the components of the x-axis to include a set of time periods with $0?

If you right click on the upper left hand portion of the CrossTab, you can go into the Customize Style tab. See if you have anything suppressed, then unclick them.

You can't force the charts or crosstabs to show data that isn't there. You could create a manual crosstab to do this. The other option is to create a table of dates that includes all dates and left join your actual date field to this. Then use the all dates table field in your crosstab or chart. You wouldn't be able to filter data in your regular table though, or it would effectively undo your left join.

Thank you. I got it to work by adding data for each month but the table with a left join would be much easier to maintain.
