Does anybody know if it is possible to change the colors of the bars in a bar graph that are assigned by default?

Also I want to be able to have two data fields grouped together in my graph. For example I want to have "This years Sales" and "Last Years Sales". I want to have these two bars side by side as a group. So, I can have group1 be toys which would have this years and last years sales then there would be a space and then group2 as clothing and there would be this years and last years sales grouped together then a space, etc. Is this possible? I have tried setting the gap to 0 but this just puts all the bars next to each other so that there is no space between group1 and group2. Please let me know any ideas or suggestions

Had to do a bit of digging to locate this in help:

The "Look" section of the "Chart Options" dialog include fields for selecting:

* Color Mode (how risers/markers are colored)

* Legends (Show or hide and format)

The color mode is used to change the format in which risers are colored. You can color the risers by series (area) or segment (category).

In 3D surface charts, you can also color the risers by series exact color by height or color by increment.

I found the above by looking in "Amigo 2000 Chart Help". Seagate / Crystal Decisions have the charting option provided by a third party, apparently. Website: "Amigo" (R) (C) 1996 - 1998, by Three D Graphics, Inc. All rights reserved. Phone: 800-913-0008 OR 310-553-3313. FAX: 310-788-8975.
The mapping feature of Crystal is also, apparently, a third party program. You can contact "MapInfo" directly to download additional boundary files. Note that COUNTY boundary lines are NOT shown for ALL states. For more info contact: techsupport@mapinfo.corp

I just now located some info on this topic in Osborne's "The Complete Reference, Seagate Crystal Reports 8.0" by George Peck. See pages 269 through 271 of that book for details. If you don't have a copy of this book, by all means, get one!

Hi
This is in relation to the original question, any help would be much appreciated.

Is it possible to change the plot of the Chart? By this I mean, that I've
produced a chart of 'No.of events logged' by 'Service Provider' and now I
want to change this to 'No.of events logged' by 'Equipment Group'.

Is this possible to produce this through code, during runtime?.....
