I have a simple bar chart. Each bar has one of the following labeling on the axis:

Bar 1 = Q1 2014
Bar 2 = Q2 2014
Bar 3 = Q3 2014
Bar 4 = Q4 2013

Right now, each label appears on one line and overlaps with the next label to the right. How can I change the appearance so that the text appears on 2 lines under each bar (see example below)? For some reason, I have not yet been successful in Excel 2013!

Label Example under each Bar:
Q1
2014

Hi,

Put the quarter and year in two separate columns.

Then EDIT the chart SELECT DATA range for the Category Axis.
