If anyone out there has to do graphs and charts for their work, and has ever struggled to create the graphs, then do I have some good news for you.

This is a third party component that has a ridiculously low price of $99/license. It is capable of making any graph you can possibly envision, and the amount of code to get it to work is just insignificant.

You can download their demo that is 100% functional, but just adds a tag line to the bottom of any graph you make with it (which disappears when you anny up) -- so you can play with it till you're ready to buy.

It's so worth a look. The charts and graphs that come out of it are comparable to Excel's capabilities.

And just FYI, I found it at under their control gallery. And there are lots of other good ones out there, looks like.

Did I mention that the charts look great in any browser? They're images! Performance is great, too. Low processor utilization.

enjoy! :)

Hey Paul,
this graph software is the first asp.net stuff I've tried running on my server after downloading the .sdk.

I get a "Server Application Unavailable" page. When I view the "Event Viewer" I see this:

=======================================
Event Type: Error
Event Source: ASP.NET 1.0.3705.0
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1007
Date: 5/23/2002
Time: 11:26:56 PM
User: N/A
Computer: WEB
Description:
aspnet_wp.exe could not be launched because the username and/or password supplied in the processModel section of the config file are invalid.
==========================================

What exactly is aspnet_wp.exe? I found it in a subfolder of my WinNT folder, but don't know what it does specifically, or which "config" file I need to change and how.

Any pointers you could provide for this would be greatly appreciated!

- Jim

(P.S. Haven't gotten to your software yet...the need was for a WinME machine...but I'm sure I'll need it in the future, so holding onto it and will look at it as I get the time. Thx Again) -Ovatvvon :-Q

An alternative method is to create the graph in Crystal Reports and "drop and drag" the Crystal Report viewer onto the ASP webform and connect.

Hey Paul,
Thanks for the info...after going through the Microsoft page (2 times, lol), I was able to make it work....sorta...

Now the site can run, but no graphs are displayed...is there somthing else I'm doing wrong?
