I need to set with a formula (so it changes every time i change values without manula handling) the maximun and minimum scaliing of the Y axis of a bar graph.
Does anyone know how to accomplish that? If I try to insert a formula Excel says that an integer is required

Thanks!
Andrea

Hi Andria,

You'll need to use VBA Code (a macro)

Turn on your macro recorder (Tools/Macro/Record new macro)

Record how you want the y-axis to change.

Turn off the recorder

alt+F11 toggles between the worksheet & the VB Editor.

If you have a formula that calculates the min & max, you can assign these VALUES (not the formula) there.

The macro must run each time you change the min/max values.

Post back if you need help.
