Chart wont update after changing its rowsource

Just wondering if anyone can help me.I am changing the rowsource of a chart in access97 via code.i know that the rowsource is definitely changing,but the chart wont update unless i minimize the screen and then restore it.I've tryed all i know but i am stumped.The chart is on an unbound form with a 6page tabstrip if that matters any

Thanks Chrissie1 ,but I have tryed that and it still does nothing.I have been trying for a few weeks now and it has got me beat.
