hey
I am trying to make a chart based on a query.
I go through the Chart Wizard selecting the relative fields.
There is Date on the x axis and i group it with day.
when i switch to form view..to check out the graph..i get an error saying "Function isn't available in expressions in query expression '(Format(Date),"ddddd"))' "
Date is originally of the type Date/time.

there are two columns in a query..one is date which has to be on the x axis and the other is some other data.Have to plot them.I thot the chart wizard wud be simple.How do i get around this.

If your post is accurate you have a syntax error in your format call - should be like:
Code:
  Format(Date(),"dddd")

Still having the same problem.
Have no idea how to solve it.
Could you suggest a good place on the net where i can read about how to create charts in Access 97 based on a query involving dates.
thanx
