Chart Question

Is there a way to create a bar + line graph with out haveing to put a line graph on top of a bar and make it transparent.

Maybe something similar to the way fusion charts does their combination charts.

Yes, if you add the two summary fields as a bar chart, for example, then select one of the series in preview mode->right click->series options->appearance tab->show selected series as: line. This is in XI. You should identify your version.

Were you able to get the chart to work? What I described are the steps in XI.

Kind of... but because we are grouping by two fields and summarizing one as a percentage, couldnt get that second field in to sumerize and still display the original graph correctly.
